What services does iDigital offer?

We offer data recovery (hard drive, SSD, phone, RAID), smartphone and tablet repair, laptop and computer repair, game console repair, smart home and TV/sound, and home appliance repair. All services are available across Louisiana.

Do you do data recovery?

Yes. We recover data from failed hard drives, SSDs, phones, USB drives, and RAID arrays. Many cases are no data, no fee. Contact us for a free evaluation.


Same-day repair?

Many phone and laptop repairs are completed same-day. Data recovery and complex repairs may take longer. We’ll give you an estimate when you bring or mail your device.

Free diagnostic?

We offer a free diagnostic for most repairs. We’ll tell you what’s wrong and what it will cost before any work is done.

Do you service my area?

We’re based in New Orleans and serve Louisiana. You can drop off in person or mail your device from anywhere for repair or data recovery.


Appliance repair included?

Yes. We repair refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and other home appliances. Request a repair online or call us to schedule.

Game console and VR repair?

We repair PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, and VR devices. Same-day service and lifetime warranty on many repairs.

How long does a repair take?

Many device repairs are done same-day or within a few business days. Data recovery can take longer depending on the case. We’ll give you an estimated completion when we complete the diagnostic.

Is there a warranty on repairs?

Many iDigital repairs include a lifetime warranty on the work we did. It covers defects in our repair; it does not cover new damage or misuse. Ask us for full terms.


Can I mail my device for repair?

Yes. You can ship your device to us. We’ll send packing and shipping instructions. Once we receive it, we’ll run a diagnostic and contact you with a quote.

Do I get a quote before you start?

Yes. We provide a free diagnostic and quote. No repair or data recovery work is done without your approval.

What parts do you use?

We use quality parts from trusted suppliers. For some devices we use OEM or OEM-equivalent parts. We’ll explain your options when we quote the repair.


Can I drop off in person?

Yes. Visit our New Orleans location to drop off your device. We’ll run a quick diagnostic and give you an estimate on the spot when possible.

What if you can’t fix it?

If we can’t complete the repair or recover your data, we’ll tell you why and what your options are. For data recovery, our no data, no fee policy may apply.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other standard payment methods. Payment is typically due when you approve the quote or when the repair is complete. We’ll confirm before charging.

When do I pay?

For repairs, payment is usually due when you pick up or when we ship your device back. For data recovery, we’ll explain when payment is due based on the service. No upfront payment for the diagnostic.


Is the quote the final price?

We strive to stick to the quote. If we find something else during the repair that changes the cost, we’ll contact you before doing additional work.

Do you offer financing?

Payment is due at completion. Contact us if you have questions about cost; we can sometimes work out a plan for larger jobs.

Can I get an invoice?

Yes. We can provide an invoice or receipt for your repair or data recovery. Ask when you pay or contact us after your service.

Tax included?

Tax applies where required by law. The quote we give you will indicate if tax is included or added at payment.

How do I ship my device to you?

Contact us to get a repair or data recovery started. We’ll give you our address and packing instructions so your device arrives safely. Use a trackable method and keep your tracking number.

Who pays for shipping?

You typically pay to ship your device to us. We’ll quote return shipping when we’re done, or you can pick up in person at our New Orleans location.


How should I pack my device?

We’ll send packing guidelines. In general: use a sturdy box, cushion the device, and avoid loose materials that could cause static or damage. Remove batteries if possible.

How do I track my repair?

Use our Track Your Repair page with your tracking code and last name. You can also call or email us for a status update.

Do you ship back to Louisiana only?

We can ship your repaired or recovered device back to you anywhere in the US. Return shipping cost will be included in your quote or communicated before we ship.


Can I drop off instead of shipping?

Yes. You can bring your device to our location in New Orleans. Drop-off and pickup in person avoids shipping and lets you get an estimate on the spot.

How long until I get my device back?

Once the repair or data recovery is complete, we ship within 1–2 business days (or you pick up). Transit time depends on your location and the carrier.

What is your refund policy?

If you cancel before we start the repair, we don’t charge. If you’re not satisfied with the repair, contact us right away—we’ll work with you to make it right. Data recovery fees are typically non-refundable once data is recovered and delivered.

Can I cancel after I send my device?

Yes. If you change your mind before we begin work, we’ll return your device. You may be responsible for return shipping. No repair or recovery charges if we haven’t started.


What if I’m unhappy with the repair?

Contact us immediately. Our repairs are backed by a lifetime warranty on the work we did. If something’s wrong, we’ll fix it. We want you to be satisfied.

How do I use the lifetime warranty?

If the same repair fails due to a defect in our work, bring or send the device back. We’ll re-repair at no charge. The warranty doesn’t cover new damage, liquid damage, or misuse.

No data recovered—do I still pay?

For many data recovery cases we offer no data, no fee: if we can’t recover your data, you don’t pay the recovery fee. Terms apply; we’ll explain when you submit your device.


Refund timeline?

If a refund is approved, we process it as quickly as possible. Refunds to cards usually appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
